Quality Testing |
Water quality is important to
people who may use the water for recreation, but it is even more important
for the wildlife living in the water. Four water quality measure will be
taken during this activity. The four main water quality indicators are:
Temperature, PH, Dissolved Oxygen and Turbidity.

Work Day |
Join us in beautifying the
trail on this Saturday morning walk. You will be helping to remove
invasive species, protect native saplings, and keep the trail clear of
trash and debris. Bring water and closed-toe shoes; we’ll provide the
tools.

Hike for Your Health |
Did you know that taking walks through
our woods can benefit both your physical and mental health? Family members
of all ages are invited to come out on this guided, two-hour hike. There
will be trail activities for children of all ages. Don’t forget your water
or your closed-toe shoes. You may also want a camera, as wildlife
sightings are common on these hikes. |

Whittle Away the Day with Mike Biguenet |
The best gifts are the
handmade gifts, and Woodlands Conservancy would like to help you get into
the holiday spirit. Join Michael Biguenet this weekend to learn the basic
strokes and skills of whittling. Take a walk down Woodlands Trail and find
your own twig to shape into an animal, a holiday figurine, a walking
stick, or any other direction your imagination takes you. Michael will
also have some of his wonderful hand-made items available for purchase. |
